Belinda Bolger

Belinda Bolger is the founder of the CPO, and principal clarinet player. Belinda studied clarinet performance at the Victorian College of the Arts graduating with a first class honors BMus degree and has completed study at The National Academy of Music. Belinda has played with the South Australia Opera Orchestra and is s the recipient of numerous awards and prizes including, the “Royal  South  Street’s  Champion  Concerto  Competition”  Zonta  Scholarship. Belinda has performed extensively throughout Europe and also studied with “Flemish  Radio  Orchestra”  in  Ghent  Belgium. 

Phil Hocking

Phil Hocking is a specialist in international trade and logistics, and a director of Curlett, Cannon & Galbell. Philip also sits on the board of The Swiss Australia Chamber of Commerce. Philip has extensive experience in music concert production and event logistics and worked throughout Europe and Asia on events including Pavarotti concerts, The 3 Tenors World Tour, Cirque du Soleil and many touring shows.

Kent Ross

Kent has been a musical director for over 20 musical productions and has been nominated for multiple awards from The Musical Theatre Guild of Victoria as well as the Lyrebirds. Some of the shows that Kent has musically directed include Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde, The Boy from Oz, The Addams Family, Suessical, The Wedding Singer, Whistle down the Wind, and Spamalot. One of his most recent successes was being musical director for Titanic the Musical, which was staged at Melbourne’s Chapel off Chapel for Melbourne based theatre company StageArt. Kent holds a Bachelor Degree in Classical Piano and Choral Conducting from the Australian Catholic University, and a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Box Hill College of Music. He also recently completed a Masters of Music from Box Hill College of Music, majoring in conducting. Apart from being a sought-after musical director, Kent has also composed music for short films, theatre and enjoys writing his own music. Kent is a published composer with a number of works that can be found on the ANZCA classical piano syllabus. 

Jess Markham

Jessica Markham is a passionate educator who teaches classroom music at Lynbrook Primary School. She completed a Bachelor of Music (oboe)/Bachelor of Arts at Monash University before discovering her passion for teaching music to young children through volunteer work at a local school. This led her to complete a Diploma of Education (Primary) before undertaking further training in the Kodaly method and Orff Schulwerk approach. Jessica is excited to be a member of the CPO orchestra and support such a vital community group in the City of Casey.
